(VOV) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh has hailed the role played by the Council for Peace and Reconciliation Asia (APRC) in peaceful settlement of disputes in the region.
At a reception for APRC President Surakiart Sathirathai in Hanoi on August 12, Minh also commended his efforts and contributions to ensuring peace and stability in the region.
Sathirathai , in turn, said he agreed upon Vietnam’s approach to resolution of disputes in the East Sea through peaceful solutions, noting that his organisation will make practical contributions to
promoting reconciliation and peaceful settlement of disputes in Asia and in the East Sea on the basis of respect for international law.
