PANO – The Vietnam Rubber Industry Group has pumped VND 19 billion in doing charity and social welfare activities in localities where Military Zone 5 is stationed over the past two years.
The group has also built 25 gratitude and 15 compassion houses, totally worth VND 1.2 billion, for the locals in need, and generated jobs for local ethnic minority people in contribution to hunger elimination and poverty reduction and improvement of locals’ spiritual and material life.
Its four affiliated companies stationed in Gia Lai province have twinned with 224 villages of ethnic minority groups to assist them in economic development and building of new rural areas.
