PANO – The Lao People’s Army’s high-ranking political delegation, led Major General Vilay Lakhamphong, Acting Director of the General Department of Politics, on August 15th successfully ended their visit to Vietnam.

The Lao delegation visiting a unit under the Air Defence and Air Force Service
The visit was part of the cooperation plan in 2014 between the Vietnamese and Lao Defence Ministries.
During the six-day visit, the delegation held talks with the Vietnam People’s Army. The two sides discussed regional situation, reviewed the cooperation in implementing party and politics work over the past time, as well as set forth cooperation orientations in the time to come.
The guests visited Military Commands of Da Nang city and Thua Thien-Hue province, Air Force Division372, Factory A32 of the Air Defence-Air Force Service and some historical relics and landscapes in Hue and Da Nang cities.
The Lao delegation’s visit contributed to strengthening the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, peoples and armies.
