(VOVworld) – Vietnam has not yet reported any cases of Ebola virus infection, but authorities are taking precautions to prevent an Ebola epidemic from occurring here.
On Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced an action plan to detect the virus early and isolate the disease if it enters Vietnam. The Ministry asked health agencies to prepare facilities, medicines, and personnel and coordinate with immigration authorities to monitor international arrivals. Suspected cases will be tested and receive prompt treatment if necessary.
