Dong Giang is a moutainous district locating 145km northwest of Tam Ky City. It borders Hoa Vang District (Da Nang City) in the east, Thua Thien Hue Province in the north, the districts of Tay Giang in the west, Nam Giang and Dai Loc in the south. Its population consists of the people of Cotu and Kinh, with the majority of Cotu ethnic tribe. The district has diverse resources of metals, forestry, land, rich flora and faunna system. Remarkably, Dong Giang is endowed with beautiful natural landscape that presents its typical tourism protential. In addition, the community-based tourism villages of Dhroong and Bho Hoong provide tourists with truly experience of Cotu ethnic culture
