PANO – The Defence Sports and Physical Training Centre of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) on September 23rd marked its 60th founding anniversary and received the merit certificate of the Prime Minister.
Leaders of the Ministry of National Defence sent a bouquet of flowers in congratulation of the centre.
During the meeting, delegates reminisced about the unit’s development and achievements in implementing assigned missions over the past six decades.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of the VPA’s General Staff, encouraged the centre’s troops to raise the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in sports field, build strong Party organization, and well respond to emulation movements, including the “Learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” movement.
