Phu Yen Medical College was established inFebruary, 2014, so far, the College has strengthened the organizational structure, and improved the regulations. The 2014-2015 academic year is the first year the College has implemented the college enrollment of 250 students. Admission is an advantage because of abundant resources. Thus, along with over 800 students of intermediate level recruited, in the 2014-2015 academic year, the College has nearly 3,000 students. Especially for this new academic year, the College has attracted 6 doctors, 4 pharmacists who graduatedfrom the formal universities, 9 nurses (at good and excellent level) to teach at the College. With 17 classrooms for teaching theory and practice, equipment appropriately invested into 9 subjects, the Collegecan basically ensure the teaching and learning quality.

Addressing at the meeting, comrade Pham Dinh Cu acknowledgedthe College’s efforts in recent years and required the College to use the State’s funds for the right purposes in publicity, transparency and promote its efficiency. With advantages in enrollment, the College need to pay attention to the quality of students when graduating; it’s necessary to avoid being trained but unemployed. Once the students who graduate from the College are admitted to work at the medical facilities both in and outside the province and highly appreciated; it means that the College has confirmed its quality of training. The PPC will review and implement the appropriatelypreferential regime for doctors and nurses working in the field of teaching in the College.
