The Hanoitimes – The new caravan tours to Sapa in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai have been launched by Binh Minh Tourism Company following the inauguration of the Noi Bai-Lao Cai highway.
Tourists can now drive their own car from Hanoi to Sapa at weekends along the new road.
The tour’s route will take them to famous destinations in Sapa such as Cat Cat Waterfall, O Quy Ho Pass, terraced fields in Muong Hoa Valley, Ham Rong Mount and Sapa love market.
The US-based Travel and Leisure Magazine has listed Sapa’s terraced rice fields as one of the seven most magnificent examples in the world.
The hundred-year-old popular resort town of Sapa has been named by Lonely Planet as one of the top ten walking sites in the world for tourists.
