A ceremony celebrating the first oil flow from the Su Tu Nau (Brown Lion) oil field in the Cuu Long Basin was held in HCM City on Friday. The success of the project has opened up new prospects for applying the technology to exploiting other small near-shore oil fields across Viet Nam, said General Director Do Van Khanh of the PetroVietnam Exploitation and Production Corporation.
