The water level of the Saigon River in Ho Chi Minh City continued to rise on Friday, reaching up to 1.66 meters, submerging many areas, leaving numerous vehicles stranded, and blocking traffic on many streets.

This was the third day in a row that flooding had struck the city since the river began rising on Wednesday.
There have been no reports of injuries caused by the floods so far, according to the city Center for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control.
The center said it has urged its units and local authorities to take effective measures to protect life and property during the flooding, which will continue today.
