President of Tanzania Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete will make a State-level visit to Vietnam from October 26-28 at the invitation of President Truong Tan Sang, the Foreign Ministry announced yesterday.
Vietnam and Tanzania established bilateral diplomatic ties in 1965. Both countries have already signed a number of agreements and deals covering bilateral co-operation in economy, trade, science and technology. They also set up an inter-governmental committee.
