(VOV) -The Canberra Vietnamese Student Association in collaboration with the Australian National University Vietnamese Student Association on October 10 organized a Vietnamese Cultural Festival.
The festival aimed to promote Vietnamese culture to local community and international friends as well as reinforcing national unity amongst the Vietnamese student community.
At the event, many stalls were arranged to showcase Vietnamese handicrafts and cuisine. Additionally, Vietnamese students also exhibited traditional fashions, dances and sang folk songs.
On the occasion, Vietnam Ambassador to Australia Luong Thanh Nghi granted a certificate of merit to the organizing board in recognition of their positive contributions to preserving national culture and connecting Vietnamese students in Australia.
