Prime Minister decided to add Mr. Le Manh Ha, Deputy Chairman of People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh city as a Commissioner of the National Committee for Information Technology Application. Photo illustration Previously, Prime Minister has decided to establish National Committee for Information Technology Application. Prime Minister is nominated Chairman of National Committee. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam is nominated Vice Chairman of National Committee. National Committee for Information Technology Application is responsible to consult for the Government and Prime Minister on policies and strategies, mechanisms and policies to promote the development and application of information technology in the state management agencies, branches, and key areas in the society. Besides, directing ministries, branches and localities in the development and application of information technology to promote economic restructure, enhance national competition capacities, and develop economy and society; come up with comments on the mechanisms, policies, programs and major projects for the development and application of national information technology. Concurrently, helping the Government, Prime Minister to coordinate and supervise the implementation of important strategies, programs and projects related to other branches of the development and application of information technology. |
