The daily flight between Vietnam and Indian has been officially effective since November 5 after the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) entered into a reciprocal codeshare agreement with Jet Airway, India’s premier international airline, in September.
Under the arrangement, Jet Airways’ flight 9W 063 will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 6.15 pm and arrive in Bangkok at 7.45 pm. The flight will then leave Bangkok at 8.50 pm for Delhi’s T3 terminal at 11.59 pm.
Jet Airways’ flight 9W 064 will take off from Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi at 8.55 am and land at Bangkok at 2.30 pm. The flight will then leave Bangkok at 3.45 pm for Tan Son Nhat International Aiport in Ho Chi Minh City at 5.45 pm.
The cooperation will offer more choices to passengers who travel between India and Vietnam, with convenient connections over the international gateways of Singapore and Bangkok.
Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 112 aircraft, which include 10 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 8 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 4 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, 72 next generations Boeing 737-700/800/900/900 ER aircraft and 15 ATR 72-500 and 3 ATR72-600.
With an average fleet age of 5.08 years, the airline has one of the youngest fleet of aircraft in the world. Flights to 74 destinations span many different locations in India.
