This centre will assess tertiary education establishments and technical schools, and their training programs nationwide.

The assessment will come from reports of educational establishments and independent expert delegations. The centre’s direction will be authorized to make decision and issue certificates for educational establishments or training programs with high quality.

So far, the VNU has trained and granted certificates to 203 educational assessors, including 158 experts. Among them, 32 have received assessor badges.

This year, the centre signed agreements with the universities of Da Nang, Hue, Thai Nguyen and others to assess the quality of education. The move will help improve the higher education quality of Vietnam.
