The Ho Chi Minh (HCM) city Department of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies have completed the draft plan on supplying the market sufficient essential food and foodstuff commodities for Lunar new year 2015 and submitted it to the municipal People’s Committee for approval. Accordingly, businesses in the city will spend more than VND15.84 trillion on producing, reserving and supplying commodities for two months before and after the Lunar new year, a year-on-year rise of VND7.58 trillion. This figure included over VND8.3 trillion to prepare commodities for market stabilization, up 69.4% from last year’s Tet holiday. The Department of Industry and Trade also judged that Tet commodities are in great abundancevarious styles, high quality and suitable prices. Prices of food, foodstuff and other essential goods saw few changes and commodity supply will meet the demand of customers./. |
