(Cinet)- Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has had Document No.4532/BVHTTDL-VHDT on December 11, 2014 sending to Bac Lieu Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism about organizing the 7th Khmer festival of culture, sports and tourism in the Southern Vietnam.
To honour and develop some cultural identities of the Khmer ethnic people in southern Vietnam, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and People’s Committee of the Khmer ethnic people in southern Vietnam organized in some provinces of the Southern Vietnam in Hau Giang.
Based on Document No.4100/UBND-VX on November 27, 2014 of Bac Lieu Provincial People’s Committee about hosting the festival and Document No.444/TTr-SVHTTDL on December 03, 2014 of Bac Lieu Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to host the festival, the MOCST approves for hosting the seventh festival in 2017.
To prepare well at the festival, the Department and relevant agencies to build plan and scenarios to ensures the festival in the best way.
