(Photo: Ho Chi Minh city Customs Department) An Australian woman was arrested at Tan Son Nhat International Airport for illegally transporting 379.69 grams of heroin, the Ho Chi Minh city Customs Department reported on December 7th. T.K.H, 37, who was bound for Melbourne, Australia on December 2nd, was found to have hidden heroin, which valued at more than VND1.1 billion, in her underwear and anus. The case is under further investigation. Earlier on December 1st, the airport’s customs officials discovered Loke Dah Lee, a Singaporean man, transporting 2.89 kilograms of heroin while clearing departure procedures for a flight to Kaohsiung, Taiwan (China)./. |
