Thanks to the outstanding investment results in 2014, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company of Vietnam Ltd. (“Dai-ichi Life Vietnam”), one of the leading insurers in Vietnam market, recently announced the distribution of a special bonus amounting to VND21.6 billion to all policyholders of An Tam Hung Thinh and An Thinh Chu Toan universal life products whose policies were still inforce as of 14 November 2014. This special bonus was added to the eligible policy account value on top of other investment benefits as committed in the policy contract.
This is the 3rd time Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has announced the special bonus distribution. The company has previously distributed such kind of special bonus for its customers in the years of 2011 and 2012.
Dai-ichi Life Vietnam also announced strong sales results in the first nine months of 2014 as new business premium reached over VND640 billion, an increase of 33 percent against the same period of 2013. Total premium income reached over VND1,690 billion, an increase of 36 percent over the same period of 2013. Preliminary profit, exceeding target of 3 quarters, was estimated at VND160 billion.
