(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang praised outgoing Chilean ambassador to Vietnam Fernando Ayala for his contributions to promoting relations between the two countries at a reception on Wednesday.
Vietnam and Chile have signed a bilateral free trade agreement, Vietnam’s first FTA with a South American country. President Sang said that regular visit exchanges and signed agreements have helped boost trade between the two countries and promote cooperation and mutual support at global forums. The Chilean ambassador pledged to continue contributing to the Vietnam-Chile friendship and cooperation in the future.
