PANO – A blaze broke out in the woods in Quang Tien commune, Soc Son district, Hanoi, at 9.20am of December 17th.

After receiving the news, the Hanoi Capital Command mobilized over 1,400 troops and militiamen, and equipment to assist local firefighters and people in putting out the blaze.
It took them two hours to put the blaze under control, but about four hectares of the forest was burned down. Relevant units are investigating the cause of the fire.
