A source from the Provincial Farmers Association said that in 2014 Quang Ngai provincial center for vocational training had opened 09 vocational training courses in fields of agricultural machinery repair, poultry and livestock production, mushrooms, etc for nearly 300 farmers across the province.
The Center also introduced 2,698 rural workers to participate in vocational training institutions and business units in the province.
These courses helped farmers approach basic knowledge and skills in family production in order to bring high economic efficiency.
Along with vocational training activities for farmers, the Center collaborated with the provincial agricultural materials J.S.C. and Social Insurance to allocate nearly 700 tons of fertilizer worth over 3.3 billion VND to farmers; to apply the piloting model of voluntary health insurance for farmers in two communes of Binh Trung (Binh Son district) and Hanh Thinh (Nghia Hanh district).
