PANO – In the first quarter of this year, organs, units and schools across the army should organize additional training on the contents that they poorly performed in the fourth quarter of 2014, while military zones, services, Border Guards, army corps and arms should complete the training plans for cadres at all levels before the Lunar New Year Festival.
This was requested by Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, at the unit’s online conference to review army units’ training results of last year’s fourth quarter and launch this year’s training missions.
He also asked army units to complete training plans for 2015, inspect the preparation for training recruits of the first enlistment drive of 2015, and carefully select and train officers who will take part in the parade at the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30th).
Earlier, the general had praised officers and troops in the whole army for their efforts to overcome difficulties to fulfil training plans as well as unexpected missions, while strictly maintaing disciplines and ensuring traffic safety.
