(VOV) -Member of the Politburo and Permanent member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh has asked provincial and municipal leaders to improve the efficiency of socio-economic consultation and improve the capacity of responsible cadres.
Speaking at a consultation meeting on the socio-economic situation hosted by the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission in Hanoi on January 15, Anh said the Vietnamese economy has developed rapidly after 30 years of renewal.
Socio-economic consultation has become more important now that Vietnam is pushing ahead with global economic integration, reforming its economy, and restructuring its growth model.
It is necessary to organize more training and consultation exchanges for cadres of Party Committees, cities, and the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission to improve their capacity in doing research and giving advice on socio-economic issues.
