(VOV) – Vietnam’s most successful men were honoured for their professionalism and contribution to their field at a – Men of the Year 2014 – ceremony held in HCM City.
From actors and singers to comedians and designers some of the country’s biggest stars were present at the ceremony as awards were presented across industries from film to art, music, fashion and business.
Ly Giam Tien, 18, was presented the Breakthrough of the year 2014 award in honour of the designs he brought to Vietnam’s fashion industry last year.
The young man didn’t attend any professional training course on fashion or study in any university on design; however, his creativeness, ideas and designs have been an inspiration for millions.
The Men of the Year awards were launched by The Thao, Van Hoa & Dan Ong (Sports, Culture & Men) magazine in 2005. This was their fourth awards ceremony.
