Military academy targets raising education and training quality

PANO – The National Defence Academy on January 16th held a conference to review its 2014 performance and roll out its tasks for this year, in the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Pham Xuan Hung, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army.


Last year, the unit received an emulation flag by the Ministry of National Defence for its achievements in education, training and scientific research.

In 2015, the academy plans to renew its education and training methords, focus on the quality, open courses for foreign officers, develop the Vietnam art of war, and well prepare and hold the congresses of Party committees at all levels.


The general applauded the academy’s good results in 2014, saying that the unit should effectively serve as a think-tank, providing good advice to the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defence on military and national defence, carry out more scientific projects with high theoretical and practical values, and augment military lecturers’ and cadres’ professionalism to contribute more to the national construction and defence cause.
