PAN to boost Lam Dong’s images

PANO – A mission of the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN), led by its Editor-in-Chief Major General Pham Van Huan, worked with leaders of the Central Highland province of Lam Dong on January 16th.


At the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Doan Van Viet expressed his pleasure at the newspaper’s contributions, especially in popularizing the province’s image and information about it on the paper’s editions over the past time.

He briefed the PAN delegates on the province’s development. Accordingly, in 2014, Lam Dong reached the economic growth rate of over 14 per cent with an average yearly per capita income of nearly VND 45 million, welcomed 4.8 million visitors, and lowered its household poverty rate to three per cent.


The guest congratulated the province’s achievements and thanked them for creating favorable conditions for the PAN’s representative office and reporters.


The guest affirmed that this year, the newspaper would continue to promote dissemination on information about the province and major events in it on its publications. This will includes the information about the coming congresses of Party committees at all levels towards the 10th provincial Party Congress in the province, the campaign “Learning and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” in combination with the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive 03 on enhancing the campaign, the sixth Da Lat Flower Festival, and the 40th anniversary of the Da Lat City Liberation.
