Recently, the doctor delegation of Quang Ngai City Oriental Medicine Association in combination with Duc Phong commune Youth Union, Mo Duc district and sponsors held a program of examination and providing free medicine and gifts to poor people in Quang Ngai City.
130 aged persons in communes of Tinh Khe, Tinh Ky, Tinh Hoa and Nghia Phu received free medical treatment, drugs (cardiovascular disease, nerve, stomach and skin diseases) and gifts including rice, warm clothes with a total budget of 75 million dong.
Under the plan, the delegation continues to implement free health examination and donate gifts to 120 poor people in Tra Bong mountainous district and 100 poor people and policy beneficiaries in Tay Tra mountainous district.
This is an annual activity of Quang Ngai City Oriental Medicine Association aiming to help the poor in difficult and remote areas to have a warm Tet traditional festival.
