PANO – The Gia Lai Viettel branch on January 26th granted the “For children keen on learning” scholarships to 20 needy students with good academic records at four secondary and high schools in the border district of Chu Prong, Gia Lai province. That activity was part of the comprehensive cooperation agreement between the Viettel Group and the Ministry of Education and Training.
Over ten years of the program, the local branch will grant 770 scholarships, worth VND one million each, to needy students in 77 communes of 14 districts in the province.
The group also promises to grant another 26,000 scholarships, worth VND 26 billion in total, to needy students across the country this year.
