PANO – Sr. Lt. Gen. Luong Cuong, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army was informed of the PAN’s task implementation in the last year and this year’s missions by its editor-in-chief Major General Pham Van Huan upon his visit to the newspaper on Feb.11th.

The PAN has fulfilled all assigned tasks, especially in updating news on training and combat readiness of the whole army units and on national major events.
Besides, it has sent reporters to army units stationing in remote areas and on islands to cover their activities of welcoming the 2015 Tet festival.
Sr. Lt. Gen. Luong Cuong appreciated the newspaper’s results last year and asked it to continuously promote internal solidarity and quality of publications as 2015 sees many national major celebrations such as the 40th anniversary of the Southern Liberation Day (30th April), 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day (September 2nd), and wished a happy Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday to the PAN’s reporters.
