Comrade Dang Ngoc Tung, Member of the Central Party Committee cum Chairman of Vietnam General Labor Federation has recently attended the ceremony of summing up the task for 2014 and implementing the task for the year 2015 of Phu Yen provincial Labor Federation. * Can you give a more concrete assessment on the task of caring for spiritual and material lives for workers-laborers (WL) of Phu Yen Labor Federation (LF) in the past time?
– In 2014, lots of enterprises faced with numerous difficulties but with the efforts of WL of the entire province, the competence of working hard and enthusiastically of trade unions at all levels did timely support and encourage the task fulfillments, particularly the enterprises well implemented the trading task, contributing to help Phu Yen complete the political tasks. The province’s economic growth is fairly high in the common context of the nation; the national defense-security is stable.
Besides, trade union activities continue to be preserved or developed. Trade union at all levels has timely coordinated with the government in launching the emulation movements to successfully complete the assignments right from the very first months and quarter of the year. Trade union at the foundations, the enterprises have gradually enhanced their roles and positions, renovating the methods and contents of operation, enterprises’ owners have created lots of job opportunities; attentively caring for the spiritual and material lives of members and W-L during festivals, national holidays and Tet…, well implementing the task of rendering gratitude; constructing Cozy Houses of the Trade Union; mobilizing the WL to join in contributing to the fund sources, particularly the activity of supporting “for the sake of Hoang Sa, Truong Sa fishermen”…
* How are the general guidelines of the general LF towards the trade union activities of Phu Yen LF in the coming time?
– I do acknowledge the contributions of the province’s LF towards the common movements of the entire nation. Simultaneously requiring that in the coming time, the provincial LF to report the statistics in concrete figures of 4 action plans by Vietnam general LF; enhancing the establishment of trade union at foreign enterprises; enhancing dialogues for not letting happen disputes, strikes in parallel with constructing the harmonious relationship between enterprises and laborers. Continue to enhance the quality of cadres, among which, paying attention to the skills of negotiation for enterprises to sign collective labor compromise for the sake of laborers; continue to introduce elite members for considering to be admitted to the Party…
