Thua Thien – Hue People’s Committee launched a kick-off ceremony of the project “Detailed planning of the Huong river and pilot construction projects”.
The ODA-project is funded by the Republic of Korea with total funding of US$ 6 million in non-refundable.
The goal of the project is to establish detailed planning for the two sides of the Huong river consistent with the other functions of conservation and development of eco-friendly river banks as well as promoting the city’s economic development. As well preserving and promoting important heritage values of Hues, the pilot construction projects are to enhance capacity building of human resources in the field of urban development planning, tourism, culture of Vietnam. The project will be carried out from now to 2017.
