PANO – Ship SAR 274 of the Da Nang Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (Danang MRCC) on February 11th took a distressed fisherman on the trawler DNa 3427 captained by Doan Van Mau ashore safely.
On previous day, the center received a SOS from the trawler for saving its crewmember Tran Cong Diep from Nai Hien Dong commune, Son Tra district, Da Nang city, who was seriously injured while working on board at about 80 nautical mile offshore Da Nang city. Immediately, two doctors from the city’s heath emergency centre left for rescue and brought him to the city’s hospital.

* Two days earlier, Captain of the fishing boat KH 97787-TS Nguyen Tan Nguyen together with other six fishermen provided timely rescue for two Russian tourists, Klagv Vitor Vaxileta and Bagetxki Denix Alexangrvir while they were on a drifting canoe near Hon Noi Island, about 15 nautical miles from Nha Trang coast.
After receiving on-site first aid from the rescuers, unconscious victims have come to and then were taken ashore and handed over to border troops for more health care.
The victims now are in good heath and waiting for necessary procedures to be handed over to responsible agencies.
