 Hung Kings Temple Festiva.l (Photo: phutho.gov.vn) The State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 30th said that the commission will organize an outstanding overseas Vietnamese delegation to attend the Hung Kings death anniversary on April 22nd – 29th. The delegation includes 70 overseas Vietnamese worldwdie who are accreditted with making positive contributions to the community as well as the movements launched by Vietnamese agencies abroad. The program is organized to meet the wishes of the majority of overseas Vietnamese to pay their respects and commemorate Hung Kings, heroic martyrs and other well-known national icons. During the program, the overseas Vietnamese delegation will visit the Great Mother Au Co’s Temple, Great Father Lac Long Quan’s Temple and Hung King’s Temple in Phu Tho province; the Truong Bon historical site, the Kim Lien historical site in Nghe An province; the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Quang Binh province and finally the memorial house of Great Poet Nguyen Du in Ha Tinh province. To join the program, overseas Vietnamese should register soon at Vietnamese representative agencies abroad and State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs./. |
