On the night of March 17th, the mobile police force under the Hanoi Police seized 7kg of methanphetamine and ketamine from a taxi that had stopped outside No.14 Nguyen Duc Thuan Street, Long Bien District. A backpack in the taxi with eight nylon bags containing white crystals had been transported from Hai Phong.


Two men and a woman occupied the taxi and Nguyen Minh T, one of the men in the taxi, confessed that he had been paid VND30 million to transport the drugs from Hai Phong to Hanoi and to hand them over to an unknown party.He was arrested while waiting to hand over the illegal drugs.


The case is under further investigation./.
