More than 150 documents and artifacts related to the day the US Marine Corps first landed on the Da Nang beach (March 8th) are on display in the central city of Da Nang.


The landing location, called Red Beach Two by the US Marines, is now XuanThieuBeach. It belongs to a four-star resort on


Nguyen Tat Thanh Street

, Lien Chieu district. The event is being held by Da Nang Museum in coordination with Da Nang City Historical Science Association to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Da Nang city’s Liberation Day (March 29th). A talk about the American War and the country’s Reunification Day was also held on this occasion.


The exhibition will run until May 1st./.
