| The Hanoi Police has just busted a heroin trafficking ring en route from from Son La province to Hung Yen province with, 19 cakes of heroin and other exhibits. At 4.30pm on March 6th, the police stopped a car with license number of 29C-412 76 heading from the northwestern region to Hanoi to check in Xuan Mai town, Chuong My district, Hanoi. After checking, the police discovered and seized 19 cakes of heroin hidden in the car. The driver of the car was Nguyen Van Chu or called Nguyen Van Thanh, 39, living in Dong Sang commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province. Chu admitted that a stranger hired him to transport the heroin to an unknown trafficker in Hung Yen province. Further investigation produced an examination of the residence of Hoang Van Toan’s, 50, in Yen My district, Hung Yen province and discovered another 100gram of heroin, more than VND1 billion and many other related exhibits. At the police office, they admitted their criminal behaviour./. |
