Ongoing Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is one of the most important trade negotiations for Vietnam. Some TPP member countries are important and potential export markets of Vietnam, including the US, Japan, Australia and Canada. The negotiations are expected to be completed in 2015.
In October 2014, VCCI successfully organised a survey study programme to the US to learn about TPP issues and TPP impacts on Vietnamese businesses. This programme drew many companies to join and was highly appreciated for quality and logistics.
In the framework of the project “Supporting Vietnamese businesses to strengthen market expansion skills in 2014-2018 period”, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will organise the survey study programme called “US market – Challenges and opportunities for Vietnamese businesses ahead of TPP”. The programme expects to provide skills for Vietnamese companies to make strategies at the advent of TPP Agreement. The programme is scheduled to take place from April 10 to 20, 2015 in the US.
