A Thai media delegation led by Mr. Amnat Jongyotying, Chairman of the Chiang Mai Journalists Association, paid a working visit to the Hai Duong Newspaper on March 22 afternoon.
Joining in the Thai media delegation were representatives of leaders of the Thainews newspaper, Thai Air Force radio broadcast, Ming Radio Station, Phetchabun Provincial Journalists Association, etc.
At the working session, a representative of the Hai Duong Newspaper’s Editorial Board gave an overview of more than 53 years of construction and development of the newspaper. The Thai media delegation was interested in learning about the operating model of local newspapers and local Journalists Associations in Vietnam. The two sides discussed many issues of the press’s concern at present, such as the development of multimedia journalism, measures to attract young readers, stabilization of the circulation of printed newspapers, etc.
Earlier, the Thai media delegation had visited the historical relic area of Con Son – Kiep Bac.
