Police in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday arrested a 53-year-old man over accusations that he raped three neighbor girls aged nine and 10.
Tran Ngoc Ha, 53, has admitted to raping the girls many times, local media reported.
Their families said they usually went to Ha’s house to play together and Ha raped them.
The father of one of the victims said he noticed abnormal signs with the girls.
He questioned them and they described what Ha did to them.
Police are investigating further.
Those convicted to raping a child under 13 years old in Vietnam face a range of penalties between 12 years in jail and death.
