PANO – A delegation of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by Senior Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan, its Deputy Director, on April 10th visited Truong Sa Town of Truong Sa island district.
The delegation offered incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Commemoration House in the town. Rear Admiral Dang Minh Hai, Director of the Naval Politics Department, reported Navy’s achievements to Uncle Ho, saying that over the past time, together with the Navy, central organs and localities across the country have actively organised practical activities to raise the material and spiritual life of troops and islanders in Truong Sa island district.
Colonel Pham Van Hoa, Commander of Truong Sa Island, said that the town has obtained remarkable achievements thanks to the determination of and solidarity among troops.
The general praised achievements recorded by troops and people in Truong Sa Town and asked them to unite and beef up the town’s security and economic development, deserving to the love and trust of people.
