PANO – The National Tourism Year 2015-Thanh Hoa, themed “Connecting World Heritages”, was officially kicked off in Thanh Hoa city on April 3rd in the presence of Former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu, Party Central Committee Secretary To Huy Rua and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam highly appreciated Thanh Hoa province’s endless efforts to prepare for such a big event, asking the province to diversify tourism products, connect its tourism with other localities’, and overcome shortcomings in developing the sector.
Accordingly, in the first week, there will be activities, such as the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ham Rong Victory, the opening of a poster exhibition on the nation’s big festivals, the launch of tourism route along Ma River and the ceremony to receive certificate recognizing Ba Trieu historical relic as special National Relic.
