American Academy of Pediatrics/ Project Vietnam Foundation (AAP/PVF), an American non-governmental organization has sent a working mission of 100 medical staff and overseas Vietnamese pupils, students in the United States to Hai Duong for voluntary operations from 23 June to 3 July.
The mission is divided into 2 groups participating in activities of charity healthcare in Chi Linh provincial town and some places introduced by the Department of Health, joining in exchanges with pupils, students, and handicapped people in Hai Duong.
At the meeting with the mission on the morning of 24 June, Mr. Nguyen Van Que, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee briefed the historical, geographical, cultural features and health network of the province. He hoped AAP/ PVF continues showing interest, organizing volunteer activities, helping the people of Hai Duong.
