(VOV) – The month-long Vietnam food festival opened in Bangkok, Thailand on June 5.
Participating in the event are representatives of the Embassy of Vietnam in Thailand, the Thailand-Vietnam Culture Association and hundreds of Thai friends, Overseas Vietnamese and international friends.
In his opening speech, Ambassador Thang emphasized that the event is one of meaningful activities to promote cultural exchanges between the two countries’ people for mutual understanding and close solidarity during the process of building an ASEAN community.
The food festival also displays some works on Vietnamese people and landscape created by Vietnamese and Thai painters and presented by famous collector Thira Wanitthiranont.
The food festival will be closed on June 28.
