PANO – The Department of Politics under the Air Defence and Air Force Service on July 14th was conferred the title “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces”, in acknowledgement of its members’ great contributions and sacrifices during the resistance war against foreign invaders.
During the national resistance war against American invaders, the Department of Politics overcame many difficulties and challenges to fulfil all assigned tasks, contributing to building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern army. With its many achievements, the unit has been awarded many noble prizes from the State and the Army.
To meet the requirements of revolutionary tasks in the new stage of development, the unit is determined to further promote its troops’ professionalism and political spirit so as to excellently complete all assigned tasks of building up revolutionary, regular, elite and modern armed forces to firmly defend national air space, sea and islands.
