Military hospital offers free health check-ups in Phu Yen Province

PANO – Hundreds of people in Phu Yen province have been given free health check-ups by doctors from hospitals in the south of Vietnam.


On July 16th, 500 social policy beneficiaries in Hoa Hiep Nam commune, Dong Hoa district, Phu Yen Province, were given free health check-ups and medicines by a 78-member delegation from Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defence and Ho Chi Minh City’s An Sinh Hospital.


The delegation, including experienced doctors and nurses, led by Doctor Colonel Bui Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of Hospital 175, also presented 250 gifts to local policy beneficiaries.











Colonel, Associate Professor cum Doctor Nguyen Hong Son, Director of Hospital 175, inquired after and encouraged policy beneficiaries.

Together with Hoa Hiep Nam commune, the delegation will do this significant activity, a token of gratitude to people in heroic coastal communes in the resistance war against American imperialists, on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, in Hoa Hiep Trung commune.


As planned, a total of 1,200 policy beneficiaries, people who rendered good services in the national salvation, and elderly people in these two communes will be provided with heath check-ups and medicines for free.


Phan Thanh Loc, Permanent Vice Secretary of Dong Hoa district’s party committee, said that Hospital 175′s good deed would help tighten the fruitful ties between the army and people.
