VGP – The Mongolian Ambassador to Viet Nam affirmed that Mongolia always esteems and wishes to develop mutually-beneficial cooperation with Viet Nam, one of its major partners in Southeast Asia.

Ambassador Dorj Enkhbat was speaking at the 92nd anniversary of his country’s Independence Day in Ho Chi Minh City on July 11. The celebration was held jointly by the Union of Friendship Organizations of Ho Chi Minh City and the Municipal chapter of the Viet Nam – Mongolia Friendship Association.

Mr. Dorj Enkhbat also emphasized that during the past 59 years since the two countries established their diplomatic relations, both sides have cooperated and assisted each other in all aspects. The Ambassador believed the traditional friendship and cooperation will continue to be consolidated and developed.

According to Chairman of Viet Nam – Mongolia Friendship Association’s HCM City chapter Truong Van Da, the potentiality for cooperation and development between the two countries is very large. Agricultural, consumer, seafood and marine products and rice of Viet Nam are always favoured by Mongolian people, while Mongolia’s products as lamb, horse meat, leather items, and wool carpets are well welcomed in Viet Nam.

For the past years, many delegations from different fields in Mongolia visited Ho Chi Minh City to seek opportunities of investment cooperation, signaling positive signs in development of politics, economy, and culture between Viet Nam, including the City, and Mongolia.
