VGP – The Ha Noi Municipal People’s Committee has recently issued a Directive devising the city’s socio-economic and State budget plan for 2014, which includes a goal of making an 8.5-9.5% growth rate.

The domestic budget collection, excluding that from rude oil and land use fees, is expected to rise by 12-13% and that from imports is planned to increase by 8-9%.
Localities and agencies are asked to formulate specific plans to ensure sufficient funding for regular tasks, regulated policies and newly assigned tasks.
Capital investment for development will focus on urgent and key projects, particularly those which will be completed and put into operation in 2013 and 2014.
Ha Noi will work for higher economic growth, maintain economic stability and improve the investment climate while promoting socio-culture development and ensuring social welfare.
It will also boost urban planning and management, continue building new rural areas and speeding up administrative reforms, improve the environmental quality, ensure security and national defense, maintain social order and safety, and enhance corruption and wastefulness prevention.
