PANO – A training course on policy task for cadres of the Lao People’s Army in 2013 was opened on July 17th in Hanoi by the Policy Department under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Major General Tran Van Minh, Director of the Policy Department, laid stress on the close and growing cooperation between the Vietnamese department and Lao counterpart over the past years. The two departments actively carried out various exchanges and assisted each other in professionalism in close attachment with real demands.
During this course, the Lao trainees will be provided with some basic special subjects on policies towards the Vietnam People’s Army and military rear task. Besides, they will have fact-finding trips and exchange with some units to gain more experience in policy task.
For his part, head of policy cadre delegation of the Lao People’s Army, Lieutenant Colonel Phampamon Vongsay, Deputy Director of the Policy Department, stressed that these useful study and experience exchanges of the two departments would contribute to enhancing solidarity and special friendship between the two peoples and two armies.
