PANO – A delegation from the Ministry of National Defence, led by Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty, Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Minister, recently inspected units of Military Zone 3, the Navy, Air Defence and Air Force Service and Border Guards in Quang Ninh province.
After inspecting training and combat readiness in units and being briefed on the results in the first half of 2013, the general praised achievements of the units over the past time and answered their queries.
The general also asked the units to continue to thoroughly grasp the resolutions and instructions of the Party, missions of the army in general, and of the units in particular, raise firm political stance for officers and troops, work with other units to keep track of the situation of political and border security, well carry out enlistment drives and actively respond to the movement, “The army joins hands to build new rural areas”.
The general recommended the Quang Ninh provincial Military Zone raise training quality for forces, as well as well prepare for a provincial defensive area exercise.
